Interaction Design for Future-Proof Systems
Pommer Design designs digital products and platforms: audio interfaces at Harman, wealth management at Union Investment, energy trading at EnBW and flight operations at Boeing. Earlier projects include data governance at Deutsche Bank, fraud detection at SCHUFA and journey optimizations at Deutsche Bahn.
Since 2010, we’ve been embedded in our clients’ product teams, alongside the product managers, the engineers who ship the software and the people who use it every day.

Moritz Pommer founded Pommer Design and leads every engagement himself, from the first interview to launch. He has led product design and UX for Union Investment’s portfolio platform, EnBW’s energy trading suite, Boeing’s flight operations software and Deutsche Bank’s data compliance tools. His work has won tech industry awards and recognitions beyond.
Programs of six to twelve months run with a core team of three or more.
Specialists in research, interface design and engineering join larger programs.
We start where the work happens: dispatch rooms, trading floors, order desks, working farms. We learn what people decide there, under what pressure and with what data.
Structure comes before visuals. We define the information architecture, decision flows and component systems first, then test them with future users under realistic conditions. Whatever doesn’t hold up gets cut.
Then we design the interface in full: type, color, motion and every state of every component, down to empty screens and error messages. Engineering builds from the same components we tested.
Product design
End to end, from the first idea to a tested prototype engineering can build from.
Voice and AI interfaces
Voice UI, conversational flows and LLM features, specified in enough detail for engineering to build and test them.
Field research
Interviews, contextual inquiry and usability tests on site, with dispatchers, traders, fraud managers and farmers.
Interface design
High-fidelity interfaces, visual design and motion, built on the client’s design system or a new one.
Measurement
We set targets up front and measure against them. At EnBW, prototype tests showed 40% fewer interaction errors.
Information architecture
We turn data models into structures and flows people understand at a glance.
